The family run Wateredge Inn is situated in an unrivalled position at the very tip of Lake Windermere, on the out skirts of the picturesque town of Ambleside at the very heart of the Lakedistrict. Wateredge has 22 bedrooms, many with lake views and all offering the best of Lakeland Comfort. All are comfortably and tastefully furnished, each having its own bathroom, colour television and complimentary tea and coffee tray. We offer twins, doubles, king-size doubles, family and single rooms. You can choose to stay in one of the pretty bedrooms within the hotel itself or for added privacy; you may prefer a spacious studio room with a balcony or patio. For your extra special occasion, we also have 2 luxury suites, "Windermere" and "Fishers Landing" both with balconies and a view of the lake. "Windermere" is a large room with a beautiful hand painted bed and large bathroom with a commissioned double bathtub and a separate shower. "Fishers Landing" has a double bedroom, bathroom with bath and separate shower, and a comfortable lounge, with an adjoining area with 2 single beds.
