Our aparthotel, housed in a perfectly restored building dating from the era of Jugendstil (“art nouveau” Viennese-style) has a long tradition. In the days of the Austro-Hungarian Empire, this building was home to various aristocratic families and an air of this imperial influence still lingers, especially around the stairway, which has been restored in its original style. Cute Suite These suites, ca. 25 m² in area, are on the top floor, some with a view over to the “Stephansdom” (St. Stephen’s Cathedral). They comprise a hallway, completely equipped modern kitchenette, a combined bed and sitting room, bathroom with WC, cable-TV with high-speed internet link, telephone, minibar, safe and hair dryer.
Standard Suite: ca. 60 m² Hallway, completely equipped modern kitchenette, sitting room with a double sofa bed, bedroom, bathroom with WC, cable-TV with internet connection, telephone, minibar, safe and hair dryer.
Medium Suite: ca. 80 m² Lobby, completely equipped modern kitchen, sitting room bedroom, bathroom with bath and shower, WC, cable-TV with internet link, telephone, minibar, safe and hair dryer.
Grande Suite: ca. 90 m² Lobby, completely equipped modern kitchen, sitting room with a double sofa bed, bedroom, small room (with twin beds), 2 bathrooms with WC, cable-TV with internet connection, telephone, minibar, safe and hair dryer.
A taste of old Vienna, with luxury though, not latrines - and bathrooms, not washstands: If you enjoy something out of the ordinary, you too can stay where Count Daun, the Empress Maria Theresia’s Fieldmarshal, once lodged in Vienna whenever he was in attendance on her Majesty. Later on, Riemergasse 8 was also home to a host of other noble families.
