The building has a german style and the austerity is palliated by the colour and the whisky fusty memories; the construction was initially an alcohol factory. In the same time with the alcohol production's transition to the state monopoly, the building was undertaken and later turned into a glucose factory. In 1987, being much too close to the president's residence at that time, it has been decided that the taste of glucose wasn't as good as the smell produced by the factory and it was closed, disappointing hundreds of children that got used to taste the glucose straight from the faucet.
