"De Fem Stuer" International kitchen with a Norwegian touch. Fresh seasonal ingredients prepared by professional chefs. The ambiance created by paintings of Gerhard Munthe as well as the elegant menu and stunning views of the capital, guarantee a fine experience for all your senses. "Galleriet" Our largest restaurant with a capacity for up to 190 guests. Ideal for larger groups seeking excellent food in a relaxed and informal atmosphere. Breakfast buffet is also served here.
"Bokcafeen" A small and intimate restaurant with 40 seats. Here we serve sandwiches and drinks from 11:00am to 11:00pm, and a simple a la carte menu from 4:00 pm from Monday to Saturday.
"Baren/Peisestuen" Another one of the hotel`s popular meeting places with a roaring fire as its centerpiece. During the day mainly used as a break out area for conference delegates. In the evening it offers the finest views of the sunset and the Oslo skyline under a clear night sky.
All conference rooms are well equipped, with a capacity ranging from 2 to 500 people. We offer more than 30 function rooms, all perfect for constructive, creative and above all comfortable meetings, symposiums or training sessions.
Saga Hall Saga hall is the hotel`s largest meeting hall with a capacity for up to 500 people. The meeting room has outstanding views over the fjord and a large terrace for break outs. The hall can be divided, providing flexible solutions for meetings. A grand piano is available, along with secretarial facilities. Small exhibitions are also possible in the Saga Hall.
Auditorium A and B The Auditoriums are designed as conference theatres, where the audience is seated in an amphitheatre for best possible acoustics. Each Auditorium seats 110 people.
Nobel The Nobel Room suits all kinds of seating arrangements. An outstanding room to enjoy constructive work combined with dining. There are convenient adjacent break out rooms.
Meeting Rooms in the "Dragebygget" A large number of meeting and conference rooms of different sizes are available in the original old part of the hotel, called the "Dragebygett". Well suited for smaller working groups.
The Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica sports a 1,000 sqm convention and multi-purpose hall. The hall is centrally located within the hotel, within easy reach of all facilities. It can be used in a variety of ways such as for conventions, exhibitions, product launches and kick-offs. Its versatility makes it easy to decorate for special themed dinners, aperitiffs, or after dinner drinks. The hotel’s spacious grounds are also ideal for hosting the likes of large barbecues or other themed events. When the weather is uncooperative, the hall is an ideal alternative. Harking back to ancient Norwegian Viking traditions, we have called our new venue “Valhall”.
At Holmenkollen Park Hotel Rica, we can arrange ultural events such as a concert in the Hollmenkollen Chapel, art displays, or perhaps an outdoor barbeque as an alternative format for your meeting.
The Holmenkollen Chapel The Holmenkollen Chapel, which opened in 1923, is an edifice inspired by historic Norwegian church architecture. The victim of an arson attack in 1992, the chapel was razed to the ground. Thanks to the efforts of a few dedicated enthusiasts (Princess Astrid, in particular), the chapel was reopened in 1996. It is much used by the hotel for a variety of purposes, including concerts.
The Ski Museam Built into the rock, alongside the ski jump, is the Ski Museum. Opened in 1923, it is the oldest museum of its kind in the world. Here you can see equipment from Nansen’s and Amundsen’s polar expeditions. The museum is open daily, and can be hired by private groups.
Holmenkollen National Ski Stadium The Holmenkollen National Ski Stadium, with the Holmenkollen ski jump, is one of Oslo’s most popular sights, and only a mere stone’s throw from the hotel. The National Ski Stadium is perhaps best known for the annual World Cup Holmenkollen Runs, in which the world’s top skiers participate. In the winter of 1999, a new biathlon arena opened. In summer, Holmenkollen is the venue for several major events, the most notable being the Summer Concert, viewed by millions of TV viewers.
Tryvannstårnet At the top of Holmenkollen is Tryvannstårnet, an 118 m tall look-out tower built in 1962. It features an enclosed observation deck 60 m above ground, with a panoramic view of Oslo and the surrounding countryside.

Functions Our function rooms are in the Old Building, built in characteristic Dragon style, which can accommodate up to 300 guests spread over a number of different rooms. We have different menus depending on the occasion, whether it’s a big party or an informal dinner party.
BANQUET The hotel’s main hall, Saga Hall, can accommodate 400 guests. From your seat you can gaze down at the glittering lights of Oslo. The spacious grounds also provide the ideal setting for a garden party, with barbecues in the summer. “Galleriet” is suitable for parties of up to 250 guests. The stage is adaptable, and a dance floor can be arranged. There is direct access to the bar, which makes for flexible solutions. The Convention Hall is suitable for receptions, lunches and dinners – theme events in particular – for up to 1000 guests.
