The Xcelsus Guest House opened its doors to its first guests on 21 June 2006. Located 15 minutes from the centre of Riga in the quiet neighbourhood of Ramava, it has been certified by the ‘Hotel and Restaurant Centre’ and has received a 3 star rating. We are delighted to offer our guest the hospitality, warmth and comfort that we have come to expect of other guest houses and hotels. For small gatherings or seminars, we offer our Eastern Room with an area of 45m2. Here, we can organise spacious, comfortable seminars for 20-22 participants and receptions for as many as 40 guests. The Eastern Room is equipped with an air-ventilation conditioning system and shaded blinds. In addition, we have everything you require to conduct your business as successfully as possible including a multi-media projector, screen, note board + flip chart and internet. When you feel like a break, our experienced chefs and masterful caterer will always be on hand to serve up a sublime meal or coffee that will recharge your batteries and leave you raring to go.
The Western Room is a light and spacious room with an area of 150m2 that is ideally suited to host festive gatherings or large conferences. In ‘Theatre’ mode, the Western Room can accommodate up to 150 guests. Its ventilation and conditioning system are customised to ensure a harmonious temperature-air balance and its atmosphere can be regulated for both lighter and darker moments courtesy of its light and heat deflecting blinds. As with the Eastern Room, the Western Room features everything required for effective business including a multi-media projector, screen and note board + flip chart and internet. Likewise, whenever you feel like a break, our experienced chefs and masterful caterer will always be on hand to serve up a sublime meal or coffee that will recharge your batteries and leave you raring to go.
Xcelsus can accommodate as many as 50 guests at any one time in its 16 comfortable and well-furnished rooms that await your arrival. And should the need arise, each room contains an additional bed. The linen sheeted beds and rugs in each room and hallway that cushion your feet epitomise a laconic and understated interior where every detail has been especially designed with your comfort and contentment in mind. Moreover, each room comes replete with a cable television connection, telephone, internet connection and air ventilation and conditioning system. When you want to freshen up, you’ll find a shower or bath, soft towels, personal hygiene items, heated floor and everything else you’ve come to expect from a state-of-the-art bathroom. You will wake up to the smell of freshly baked bread and in summer you can enjoy breakfast on our terrace.
After a hard day’s business or training, there is no better way to rest and relax than by enjoying the reinvigorating virtues of our sauna. Our sauna complex includes a rest and relaxation zone, sauna for 15 people, male and female changing rooms, WC and shower. With its standard, gentle, steam and aromatherapy modes, our sauna has options to satisfy everybody.
If you are not a fine-taster yet, Xcelsus is the place you will become one! Our cuisine is presented by two high class cooks and a magic, wonderful confectioner. Xcelsus chief is the first discilpe in Latvia of the excellent master Martins Ritins, who has been practised her skills in France. Whatever yor wishes and will are – Xcelsus will serve the best for your individual needs and for 100 and more persons as well.
