Hotel Jahtihovi is a peaceful family hotel in the heart of Kuopio. All the services of the city are close at hand. We are very easily to be reached wherever you come from. You don't have to worry about parking, because we have a safe parking place in the backyard included in the room price. We think that a hotel has to be small and homelike, not big and pompous.
Hotel Jahtihovi is a homelike and peaceful family hotel. There is nothing that causes disturbances and the district is one of the most peaceful in the center of Kuopio, the streets around are so called "alley streets" with no traffic at all, exceluding the street in front our building. Our guests value peaceful sleep and calm atmosphere.
We have 25 rooms altogether and beds for about 50 visitors, so we can accommodate even one bus full of people. Still there is an idyllic wooden house with three flats (for 1-4 persons). Ask for these flats, if you want an accommodation for a longer time.
Our priority is the tidyness of a room and still they are cozy. All the indoor areas are smoke-free. In Hotel Jahtihovi there are rooms for 1-3 guests and flats (two separate rooms) with beds for 4 guests. All rooms have a toilet and bathroom. The size of the rooms is 15-19 m2 and the flats 25-36 m2, the larger flats have also a balcony to the south. Our priority is tidyness, so the rooms are clear. The materials in the rooms suit for allergic guests and all our indoor areas have been totally smoke-free already for years. Our beds are highly qualified and we continuosly invest in new linens to make sure that your sleep would be as comfortable as possible.
Breakfast, parking place and evening sauna are included in the room price. We reserve the right to the price changes. Besides there are three furnished double rooms to rent in so called "Janne's House". They are more profitable for longer visits.
Hotel Jahtihovi's restaurant We are specialized in organizing all kind of banquets. So, if you are going to have some kind of ceremonies, just contact us.
Restaurant is divided into three parts: cabin, lobby bar and drawing room. Cabin with 30 seats fits for small and drawing room with 60 seats for larger groups. Altogether in our restaurant has about 100 seats.
Breakfast is served on weekday 6.30-9.30 and on weekends 8.00-10.30 and dinner from Monday to Thursday 5.00-8.00 pm in our beautiful restaurant.
