The Hotel Helka's building - drawn by architect Wivi Lönn in 1928 - has gone through major inner transform during the year 2006. All rooms, public areas and restaurants were renovated. BREAKFAST Helka's generous and tasty self service breakfast is an excellent start of your day. Breakfast is included in the room rate and it is served Mon-Fri 6.30-10.00, Sat 7.00-10.00 and Sun 7.30-10.30. Helka's Bar is equipped with wireless high-speed internet access.
RESTAURANT HELKAN KEITTIÖ The Finnish restaurant of the new and improved Hotel Helka is simply called Helkan Keittiö; Helka's Kitchen. Buffet breakfast is served daily for our guests and á la carte -dishes in the evenings for all our customers. Popular lunch is also served midweek. Helkan Keittiö is the elegant restaurant for social meetings as well as for romantic dinners. The cosy atmosphere invites you to sit down and relax. The menu offers variable dishes based on fresh Finnish ingredients: fish, reindeer, game, vegetables, mushrooms and berries. Enjoy the casual elegance of local delicacies and traditional dishes à la Helka. Helkan Keittiö is equipped with wireless high-speed internet access.
SAUNA The sauna complex is on the top floor with a wonderful view over the city. Here you can enjoy the sauna and king-size Jacuzzi in style. The cosy lounge with a fireplace is the perfect spot for a small meeting or just to wind down, and it is always included in the sauna fee. You are able to order our special sauna dishes to fulfil your evening.
MEETING ROOMS The conference room for 30 people is situated next to the restaurant Helkan Keittiö. The room is fully equipped for meetings, with complete catering service either in the conference room or at the restaurant. Helka's Penthouse Sauna cabinet is suitable for smaller meetings - maximum of 12 persons around the same table. In front of fireplace there are few additional seats. The cabinet is fully equipped for meetings, with complete catering service either in the Penthouse cabinet or at the restaurant. This cabinet is also suitable for unofficial meetings with friends.

LAUNDRY SERVICE At Hotel Helka you have a possibility to complete same day laundry and ironing service (Mon-Fri). If you leave your laundry before 9.00am to reception you'll get your clothes back cleaned and ironed in the evening. The price list is found in a hotel room.
