Taanilinna Hote a small, cozy and stylish hotel which is located in the historical part of the Old Town not far from the city wall. In the middle centuries it was a house of a wealthy citizen. Much of the original charm and many of the characterful features were retained when the building was sympathetically renovated in 2000. In 2002 in was re opened as a charming luxury hotel that meets the up-to-date requirements of those visiting Tallinn on business or pleasure.
In our hotel you will feel an ambience of medieval times and a unique atmosphere of the old Tallinn, though you will only be a short walking distance from main attractions of the modern city. The winding streets of Old Tallinn are on your door step for shopping, art galleries, museums, medieval churches and theatres as well as the best restaurants, clubs and bars. Principal Banks and Government buildings are all easily accessible in the modern city centre. Most importantly, we are one of the few hotels in the Old town with vehicle access for parking and taxis. The hotel with its’ perfect location would suite both tourists and business people. We offer our guests the personal service and attention expected of a smaller hotel.
There 20 rooms (accommodating up to 37 guests), a fine restaurant, a well stocked wine cellar, conference room, sauna, private parking and a terrace in the summer months. Decorated in a medieval style, the rooms meet all the comfort requirements expected by European standards. Each room is equipped with a bath, fan, mini bar, satellite TV, telephone, alarm system, internet access and adjustable air conditioning. There are non-smoking rooms, and the needs of disabled and allergic guests are properly considered.
Our restaurant for up to 36 diners is located at the ground floor and is well regarded for fine cuisine. Wine cellar is open for you to enjoy our wide selection of wines. We willingly cater for special occasion gatherings or corporate functions. We also offer catering services for non residents (a minimum one day notice is required).

Our A'la Carte restaurant is suitable for business lunches and romantic events. Our professional chef has prepared a menu adding some special dishes for vegetarians.

The Taanilinna Wine Cellar is open every day 12:00 AM to 10:00 PM
Daily the wine cellar seats up for 15 people. In our wine cellar You can find more than 200 different wines. All the most important wine countries, starting from France all the way through South Africa, are represented in our wine cellar. And of course we have a fine selection of Estonian wines. Those who would like to have a meal in wine cellar, can order a dishes from menu.
We also offer specially chosen snacks to have with alcoholic drinks and also a good celection of chees.
You can have a chat here with your friends over a glass of wine or spend a pleasant evening on a company event. Wine cellar creates a cosy surrounding, where You can enjoy wines and Cuban cigars made of the best tobacco.
Meeting room Our meeting room is located on the second floor of the hotel. The table is oval and it`s seats up to 12 persons. There is possibility to use a room without table and put the chairs up to 25 persons (theatre style). The meeting room is light well and airy, being therefore suitable for holding all-day training courses and meetings.
Sauna In the hotel basement we have a Finnish sauna, where people can have a rest and relax. Sauna can be used by up to 6 persons. The sitting room with good music and excellent service can help You to ease the tension of a busy-day.
