It is very important for us to make Hotel Alexandra a special experience for our guests - an experience characterized by a high service level and relaxed atmosphere. With 61 rooms, we are small enough to give you individual service, yet still large enough to offer all modern conveniences. We have carefully refurbished our historical building to preserve the elegant style and the beautiful original interior. Colors and materials have been chosen with the greatest respect for the atmosphere, quality and environment. The furniture style is characterized by the best of classic Danish furniture design and modern Danish art.
Hotel Alexandra has 61 charming rooms including 13 Design Rooms. Each room has been uniquely decorated, but always with one or more Danish furniture classics and Danish art. All of the rooms have trouser press, pay-TV, footbath, well-equipped bathrooms with hairdryers, etc. We also offer dry cleaning and laundry services, and our room service is available when you want to pamper yourself in your room. We also have allergy-friendly and nonsmoking rooms for guests preferring this type of accomodation. Guests can look forward to enjoying their breakfast in the hotel’s restaurant, Bistroen KBH, where we – besides the abundant Danish breakfast buffet – also serve delicious homemade specialities.
Our kitchen at Bistroen KBH. reflects the chef’s roots in French cuisine supplemented with fresh Scandinavian flavours. The Bistro aims at giving you an experience of the French kitchen at a reasonable price, without you having to leave the table hungry, on the lookout for a “pølsevogn” (a special Danish fast food concept, which you ought to try – just for the sake of it!). Another way of describing “Bistroen KBH” would be as a wine brasserie; this is because of our extensive selection of wines, many of them which we sell by the glass.
Bedrooms Telephones: Each room has a telephone and free wireless High-Speed Internet connection. Outgoing calls are made direct by dialling 0 for an outside line. For international calls, dial 0 for an outside line + 00 for international access. Incoming calls go via the switchboard in reception. Voltage: The voltage in all bedrooms is 230V. Socket outlets are the Danish type without earth connection.
